Holiday Stress

The holidays from Thanksgiving through New Years Day are filled with celebration and many occasions for social gatherings. Christmas particularly is a time of joyful remembrance of the coming of Christ and special family times. However, it is also a time of loneliness for those who have suffered the loss of loved ones. For those who are out of work during this season it may be even more depressing. Leave your prayer requests for those special needs here as we reach out to them during this holiday season. Prayer for Finances

Got money? I have never met anyone who has not needed money at some point in life! Regardless of how much money we make there will be times when we could use a little more. However, there is a difference in "need" and "want." Many of our "needs" may just be the result of our material desires for more "things." God give us wisdom to know the difference!
If you genuinely have a financial need today, God cares. He understands when there is not enough finances to cover your basic needs and He has the resources to answer your prayer. The answer may not come with a check in the mail, but may be some unexpected opportunity, a new job, or a promotion. God will bless you as you trust Him with your financial needs! Prayer for the Sick

In the earthly ministry of Jesus, he went about healing the sick and caring for the hurting. The Bible says, "When Jesus went out He saw a great multitude; and He was moved with compassion for them, and healed their sick" (Matthew 14:14). Storms of Summer 2008

Please pray for those who have suffered loss in the wake of Hurricanes, Hanna,Gustave, and Ike. Pray that they might find peace as they struggle to rebuild their lives and that they find things to be thankful for as they survey their losses.

Families who are suffering loss

Wild fires in California, floods in the midwest, storms and accidents have caused loss and trauma in our country. Please pray for those suffering this summer from death, financial ruin, loneliness and despair. Pray that each one will discover a source of strength and encouragement in the Lord Jesus Christ. Answers to Prayer!

We have begun to track answered prayers. Help us by letting us know of your miracles and the needs that have been met! Sometimes we are quick to make our prayer needs known, but slow to report when everything "worked out" or the sick "got better." Not every answered prayer is an instantaneous miracle. Sometimes the answer is more gradual and eventually we realize that the urgent need has been supplied, the sick is now well, and the emergency was resolved.
